Client: Boromir
Brand: Boromir
Project: Packaging design
The Brief:
Boromir is a leading player in the Romanian food industry.
Our mission was to redesign the packaging of their traditional pretzels in order to gain shelf impact.
The Solution:
After a category audit we found the opportunity to use white color as the main shelf differentiator.
The new packaging design was built with the flavor descriptor at the center, surrounded by the natural ingredients and product shot, all on a clean white background.
Client: Terapia Ranbaxy
Brand: Aspacardio
Project: Packaging redesign
The Brief:
In the context of increasing the product portfolio, Terapia Ranbaxy, one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies in Romania, commissioned Ampro to redesign the Aspacardio packaging.
The main objective of the brief was to bring a fresh and modern look & feel to the brand.
The Solution:
Dynamic colorful lines on a clean white background was the design concept. The lines are merging into a heart at the edge of each pack, ensuring a strong connection between the packages, as well as a strong shelf impact.
Client: Terapia Ranbaxy
Brand: Faringosept
Project: Packaging redesign & brand extension
The Brief:
Faringosept is an iconic Romanian brand of throat pills. Terapia needed a redesign that would respond to two main needs: a more modern look to bring the product at the market level and a design that would support the new brand extensions: Faringo Imun and Faringo Natur.
The Solution:
For the brand extension, we created a naming system consisting in the Faringo part of the main brand combined with the descriptors of the other varieties.
To visually support the naming system, we divided the front of pack in 2 main areas:
- The brand area: clean and white for a strong shelf impact;
- The area of the product variety, acting as a differentiator in the range.
Client: Sushimania
Brand: Sushimania
Project: Brand identity and packaging design
The Brief:
Sushimania was the first sushi factory in Romania with delivery service in Bucharest.
They hired Ampro to build the entire brand visual identity.
The Solution:
Simple & smart! That was the design strategy.
The entire visual identity is built on the fresh salmon & rice, offering a smart brand signal that also speaks about the product.
Client: Kubo ICC
Brand: Amicii / My Love
Project: Packaging design
The Brief:
Create a new ice cream sub-brand for Amicii, one of the leaders on the Romanian ice cream market.
The Solution:
As the name itself was very inspiring, we created the entire packaging design in a heart-shaped brand signal.
The funny thing is that, due to a misunderstanding in the debrief session, we illustrated a half glazed product that was not according to the client’s initial plan, but they liked it so much that they changed the production line to fit our illustration.
This project also brought us our very first international award: Bronze in 2008 Pentawards Competition in Monte Carlo.
Client: Patiman
Brand: Vivienne
Project: Packaging design
The Brief:
Patiman is a local pastry factory.
Our brief was to develop the visual identity for their new muffin brand, Vivienne.
The Solution:
After conducting a category audit, we decided to create the packaging design with a focus on the product and the product flavor.
The main attractive elements on the front of the pack are the abundant filling in the fluffy muffin, surrounded by flavor appealing images and the highly visible brand logo.
To help the consumers find their favorite flavor in a few seconds, we used flavor specific color-coding for each product.
Client: Gerocossen
Brand: Gerocossen baby
Project: Packaging design
The Brief:
Gerocossen is a well-known local player in the personal care category.
Ampro’s task was to design the Gerocossen baby range.
The Solution:
We created a “Koala-bear” icon that would attract both the parents, and the baby and that ensures the differentiation within the category. Moreover, the “Koala-bear” is an element that is mostly associated with a good-night sleep and this is exactly the benefit of the product that we wanted to communicate.
